October 1st - Thankful for all the connections that I have made and am making through blogging. I am Thankful for comments, suggestions and thoughts shared with me. I am Thankful for so many talented bloggers sharing fully their stories, ideas, travels and examples of how to be better at scrapping, living and ways of thinking of things and situations differently. When we know better, we do better. (Paraphrasing from Maya Angelou).
What are you Thankful for today?

I'm being a bit dim today, so just to make sure I understand - next Thursday will we be posting 7 things we're thankful for, one for each day of the week?
ReplyDeleteEileen you are not being dim at all, I should have been clearer, sorry about that. Each Thursday in October I will be posting the things I have been thankful for in the previous week. So on the 8th I will be posting what I was/am thankful for from the 2nd to 8th. I do hope you can join with me :)
DeleteThanks for explaining. I'm definitely joining you for the month.
DeleteWONDERFUL!! :)
DeleteGood for you for counting your blessings.
ReplyDeleteSome days there are not enough fingers or toes to count all my blessings, but I do try to keep up :)
DeleteI think those are my all time favourite Maya Angelou words of wisdom.
ReplyDeleteI'll be looking forward to reading the rest of your thankful posts
Thanks Sian :)
DeleteI've been eyeing up Cathy Zielske's 31 days of Thankful class :). I like your idea of putting it together once a week. And a super quote to kick us all off ...
ReplyDeleteCathy Zielske does amazing stuff. I am a collected of quotes and Maya is one of my favourites.
DeleteReally wish I could edit my own replies ... I am a collector of quotes.
DeleteI did a 30 day gratitude mini-book a couple of years ago. It's probably past time to consider doing another one. Although I do try to keep all my blessings at the front of my mind on a daily basis.
ReplyDeleteOh Karen I would like to see your gratitude mini book layouts. Like you I try to keep my gratitude and thanks as a daily routine in which I write out in my Gratitude Journal nightly, well most every night :)
