Joining in with the other splendid short story tellers at: Short Stories This week's word isChase. The photo is from last summer; the cat is Bella from next door, who continues to be a trespasser in my yard!
Ooh - I can sympathise as I have recently acquired a couple of cat tourists who think my garden is a litter tray. I'm hoping the fence replacement will put paid to future visits...
Lady Ella you know I am a cat lover, but I just hate cleaning up others in my garden - domestic cats that do not have barn jobs, do not need to be out & about ... oh we need to see photos of the new fence.
Found you through Tracy's blog! Your pictures of home lured me in! I grew up in Rural southwestern Ontario and lived the first half of my life there. Now enjoying the second half in small town Montana. Your pictures made me happy today! Big scrapper here too!
HaHa! cats! they know how to have fun. Thank you so much for joining me again Mary-Lou
ReplyDeleteAlways a pleasure to join in.
DeleteOh naughty Bella! Does she manage to catch them?
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately yes. It is not only my chipmunks but the birds as well & she uses my garden as her litter box (anger face insert here).

ReplyDeleteThanks Leslee for visiting. Montana is quite the relocation, such big beautiful skies there.
DeleteOh how cute to have chipmonks! Shame that she chases everything away. Naughty Bella :)
ReplyDeleteOh yes Amanda she is a naughty cat, much like her owners. I will say no more for now ...
DeleteMy husband would have a totally different take on this, thanking the cat for chasing the chipmunks out of our yard!
ReplyDeleteIf only Bella just chased them I would not be so upset with her.
ReplyDeleteshe looks so innocent
