Today the sun shone very brightly, something we haven't seen in weeks. I bundled up & took myself for a stroll throughout the neighbourhood. Lots of snowmen built from the weekend's snow, which was just damp enough to make it perfect for building snowmen & throwing snowballs. Today it is quite cold so these guys will be around for at least another week
... a few of the gentlemen I found on my walk.
I am hopeful that the sunshine remains so I can re-try a couple of my WPSH photos. I will definitely be able to get the shadow photo!
Super-duper! If I were there I would definitely make you come out and help me build one! :o)
ReplyDeleteI would certainly be knocking on your door to come out & throw snowballs & make snow angels & then snowmen or snow cats ...

ReplyDeleteGreat snowmen. Someone has been busy.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure how many kids were involved with each one, but I was surprised at how many had been made throughout the neighbourhood - I guess getting school cancelled made for some "spare" time (col).
DeleteWe had sunshine all day as well, and it was a very welcome change. The temperature was mild, too, and I enjoyed being outside for a change.
ReplyDeleteI am glad I got out during the sunshine period as the afternoon clouded over again. Did you get the freezing rain last night? Outside walks today may be difficult.
DeleteAh, the fun side of all that snow!
ReplyDeleteGreat snowmen shots! It's been real cold and snowy out here and currently enjoying a moment of thawing!
ReplyDeleteSnowmen always bring a smile to my face
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see that people still make them and enjoy them!
ReplyDeleteYippee for sunshine & a stroll through the neighborhood!
