Sunshine & Snowmen

Today the sun shone very brightly, something we haven't seen in weeks.  I bundled up & took myself for a stroll throughout the neighbourhood.  Lots of snowmen built from the weekend's snow, which was just damp enough to make it perfect for building snowmen & throwing snowballs.  Today it is quite cold so these guys will be around for at least another week

I am hopeful that the sunshine remains so I can re-try a couple of my WPSH photos.  I will definitely be able to get the shadow photo!

      I would certainly be knocking on your door to come out & throw snowballs & make snow angels & then snowmen or snow cats ...

      I am not sure how many kids were involved with each one, but I was surprised at how many had been made throughout the neighbourhood - I guess getting school cancelled made for some "spare" time (col).

    We had sunshine all day as well, and it was a very welcome change. The temperature was mild, too, and I enjoyed being outside for a change.

      I am glad I got out during the sunshine period as the afternoon clouded over again. Did you get the freezing rain last night? Outside walks today may be difficult.
