This week what I noticed was, we have some up the street neighbours that could have what some describe as a sense of humour or a wild sense of garden design. They had a large pine that for some reason them decided to de-branch entirely but leave the main branches & trunk. I'll let you decide if you think it's humour or garden design. Mr Man does not think it's funny or good garden design. The rest of their garden is quite lovely, very well kept. My question is, will they replace Tweety with an Elf On the Swing at Christmas?
Well, I got a chuckle from this, but I wouldn't want Tweety in my garden.
ReplyDeleteNo Tweety isn't something I'd want in the garden but every time I walk by him, I admit to chuckling. He really is quite large - maybe 3 feet high.
DeleteIt's funny but also...weird. If they wanted/needed the tree down for some reason fair enough, but I can't imagine what purpose that bare hulk will serve going forward!
ReplyDeleteI agree to the weird & now after a week of his being there, I'm not chuckling anymore. The tree is just ugly now ...
DeleteTweety has always been a favorite and I love seeing him in this garden!
ReplyDeleteTweety in the cartoons is a cutie for sure, I'm trying to keep that idea of fun every time I pass this one.
DeleteHmmm. We have an old swing in our garden. Perhaps he could hang in that. I vote for a Father Christmas swinging from his sleigh....
ReplyDeleteOh now Father Christmas in a sleigh is an excellent idea ... I would vote for that one.
DeleteWell, I like it! Of course, we're big fans of cute & FUN around here.
ReplyDeleteI'm all for fun, but lately I get the feeling that this Tweety's eyes follow me as I walk up or down this street ... I think I saw sunglasses that would fit - I just may have to buy this guy a pair!
