Take Three Thursday - Colour Right To The End
In
an effort to notice more of the ordinary in my life, I have decided to share what I have
noticed this week in Take Three Thursday.
The idea is to take photos
that are linked some how; by theme, by
colour, by date, by moment, by points of view. There is no formal link
in but please feel free to join in. What have you noticed this
week?
Have a peek at what others have found this week:

This week what I am noticing is the deep colour veining on the maple leaves that have fallen off the trees. There are some rich colour combos in the leaves & I like as I walk about to see bunches of leaves that have been artfully grouped.
Lovely close-up photographs. There's not been as much color here as in past years. When I was at the park a few days ago, all the leaves were yellow. I miss the bright reds we often see.
ReplyDeleteThe colours in the leaves were not that intense this year, very few reds or oranges & I was told it was because we had a very dry Autumn.
DeleteHah yes. We were definitely on the same thought track!
ReplyDeleteYes, great minds think a like ... I won't finish that quote (lol).
DeleteGreat photos! Love the autumn colours. We've not had such a colourful autumn here either, probably because it has not been cold, and we have had a couple of storms.
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda. I was disappointed overall with the lack of colours this year, the experts say it is because of it being quite dry in the early stages of Autumn.
DeleteLovely photos! We saw lot of colorful leaves (mostly on the ground) on our trip!
ReplyDeleteThanks Melissa. The leaves were also very late falling off this year, even after Thursday's snow, we have one maple tree still covered in leaves. Most of the leaf colour this year was yellow.
DeleteBeautiful photos
ReplyDeleteWe can't see any leaves here as they are all covered in snow...the wind is howling at the moment and we have had our power flicker.
