It's been a few days of glorious warmth - unusual temperature highs & humidity for this time of the month/year. It makes the leaves glow even more & in spite of a very dry August, the trees are putting on some of their most colourful best.

ReplyDeleteI agree, such a pretty time I finally got around to emptying the pots & barrels today as frost is forecast for this area on Friday night! Our Ash trees are shedding their leaves like rain.

DeleteWe're not yet seeing such dramatic colors here. We were in the Finger Lakes on Saturday, and there's nothing much there yet, either.
ReplyDeleteThe colours seem to be predominately gold & yellow this year, so when I find copper or red I get weak in the knees with joy.
