Thanks to Dr Brene Brown for giving us TGIF; Trusting, Grateful, Inspired & Fun.
Trusting: That the skies will clear, the rain will stop for some sunshine time to go out & photography the beautiful Autumn leaves.
Grateful: For a stash of beautiful Autumn papers that I already own.
Inspired: by Pinterest 31 Days of Thankful prompts. Lots of free inspiration there. In the end the exchange rate was too much to join in the official 31 Days of Thankful.
Fun: Decorating the house for Autumn, The Harvest & Thanksgiving celebrations. Thanksgiving is such a wonderful holiday to celebrate. There's the food that is traditionally only made at Thanksgiving - ooohhh pumpkin; there's decorating & there's no pressure of gift giving - just count your blessings.
I too am hoping for some decent weather to be able to photograph the autumn leaves.
ReplyDeleteWe have some sunny moments so I'm taking full advantage when I can. Hope you've had some walk about moments.
DeleteI wish that decorating our homes for each season was more of a thing here, rather than just at Christmas. Your table setting looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteStart a trend of Autumn decorating & see who follows along. The table isn't actually mine, but I agree she's done a fab job with arranging.
DeleteThose squash make such a pretty centrepiece - Autumn is a lovely time of year isn't it?
ReplyDeleteI enjoy Autumn as long as I keep my focus off what's coming. All the gourds make fascinating arrangements.
DeleteYour centerpiece is gorgeous. Decorating for fall is on tomorrow's agenda. Not much leaf color here yet.
ReplyDeleteOur leaf colours are quite vibrant this year although most of the maples on my property don't get the morning sun which they need for turning. The centrepiece isn't actually mine.
DeleteThat's a lovely photo. Are the pumpkins real, and did you make it yourself?
ReplyDeleteIt's not actually on my table but yes the pumpkins are real.
DeleteAutumnal decorations are a refreshing change from the summertime colors. The browns and oranges, the gourds and leaves. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteI'm not usually a fan of orange for decorating or wearing, but during the Autumn I allow it (lol).
DeleteThat centerpiece is so pretty, it captures the serenity of giving thanks.
ReplyDeleteIt does say quiet reflection doesn't it.
DeleteOh, that is such a lovely tablescape!
