If
an effort to notice more in my life, I have decided to share what I have
noticed this week in Take Three Thursday. The idea is to take 3 photos
that are linked some how; by theme, by
colour, by date, by moment, by points of view. There is no formal link
in but please feel free to join in. What three have you noticed this
week?
Last week Maggie joined it & you can see what she has noticed this week at: Farmers Wife Day By Day
Late last week I noticed, because it has been so infrequent this winter, the intensity & brightness of a winter's day. The sky seemed higher & brighter than I have seen in weeks.
Blue Skies Smiling At Me, Nothing But Blue Skies Do I See
... Irving Berlin
beautiful blue and lovely contrast with the trees - I do love the look of empty branches against a good sky
ReplyDeleteThanks Helena. The last few days have been very stormy & so bitterly cold, these photos give me the light (sunshine) at the end of the winter blahs.
Delete"Blue days, all of them gone
ReplyDeleteNothing but blue skies from now on!"
Lovely song for your photos ... I sang it in a concert once (arranged especially for me and a backing group!) Thanks for the mem'ry!
WOW, especially arranged for you! I bet you really belted out that song with heart & soul. Glad to help with that memory!
DeleteI had a great week, but I was immature and shy on stage. Oh for another chance, to improve on presentation.
DeleteEver since living in Japan, where the sky is bleached white all through the humid summer, I share your enjoyment of blue skies. Great set. The last couple of days have been cold and grey but we too have had some lovely blue skies recently.
I am always amazed at how high such blue skies make it all feel/seem. It feels so open & freeing. We had snow today :(
DeleteYes, the blue skies have been stunning recently!
ReplyDeleteI am going to use the word delicious to the sunshine today. Hope your drive south was ok & that you are enjoying lots of sunny days.
DeleteFabulous blue skies. We have seen a few like this.
ReplyDeleteI knew that the sun would return in glorious ways, it just seems to have taken a long time.
DeleteLovely blue skies!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Melissa. I think these skies were high enough to be Texas big (col).
