Tardis Door

As promised, this is Mr Man's Dr Who door to the Tardis.  He made everything himself except for the peel'n stick Police Public Call Box sign, which by the way, was really difficult to get on straight & level.

The door is actually to our cold/fruit cellar which is just off our home theatre room, in the basement.  The door knob will one day be replaced by a dark blue one to blend/fade into the door.  A door knob isn't part of the Tardis's door, but we have to have quick access to this little room as it also serves as our safe room during tornado watches & warnings in the summer months.   And yes that's a snitch, caught from our first Quidditch game, sitting on one of the surround speakers!

    1. Thanks. You know I do think the fruit cellar is bigger, I've lost a few things in there! (lol).

  4. Not sure what a snitch is as I don't play Quidditch.

    1. Quidditch is a game from the Harry Potter books & the Univ of Guelph hosts a Quidditch match every year, although no one gets to actually fly, but there's brooms! It's a lot of fun.

    1. Thanks Ruth, it was fairly easy (I say as not the builder). Mr Man says he has increased his joy while watching Dr Who, knowing that the Tardis is right there (lol).

    1. Thanks Karen. I'm just glad it wasn't the Star Wars Death Star, but now he's trying to figure out a way to make the sliding doors from Star Trek ... it never ends! (col).

    1. The university close to us has a lot of Harry Potter themed events, and as part time student I'm allowed to participate in any or all.
