My Snap presentation this week is some of the wintery visitors I have in my garden - the weather being very dull & bitterly cold, the photos were taken from the windows. On days like these I would much rather be looking out than being in it. I give you Activity in the 100 acre woods - or close to it.
The fur girls keeping tally of who visits |
Sammy making sure fur girls are inside |
Charlie chows down |
Blue Jay - SO noisy |
love how your cats are watching intently and lovely to see your visitors - so different from what I get in my garden
ReplyDeleteHow lovely! The fur girls! I love that. Lovely to see the jay I don't see him here.
ReplyDeleteThat's lovely. I cam't help wishing for a little snow here..just so I could take some nice pictures
ReplyDeleteWe have an over enthusiastic squirrel chaser here - when will she learn that a dog will never be able to catch a squirrel up a tree? If she sees one in the garden she is beside herself with wanting to be out there, there'd be no casual sitting and staring out the window like your fur girls!
ReplyDeleteLooks like our weather is just about the same. No pets here to tell you when visitors appear. We do see deer, squirrels, cardinals, and bluejays regularly.
ReplyDeleteGreat wintery set - I like the silhouettes of kitties' heads and the close-up of the squirrel is lovely. I'm not even going to ask how many pics you had to take to come up with these four!
ReplyDeletePS. I don't want you to be jealous but we had OVER AN INCH of snow at the weekend! Oh yes!
You do get lots of visitors to your garden!
ReplyDeleteYour squirrel reminds me of the chubby one that my mum gets in their garden. We get jays. They are quite naughty but I wonder if they are quite the same. Do get magpies? Can you believe the cats brought a dead one through the cat flap into the conservatory today!
ReplyDeleteYour indoor/outdoor photos are lovely - how attentive is Sammy! That's a great close-up of Charlie ...
ReplyDeletelovely collection of critters
ReplyDeleteOh I like blue jays, we get jays here but they look quite different.
