SNAP - Scare Me Not
Linking in with the SNAP Community along with our hostess Helena at: SNAP.
Have a peek at what everyone else has found as a two to four photo
collection this week & then join in; you know you want to.
This week my SNAP collection is some of the local scarecrows found as decorative Autumn accents in front gardens.

I don't think they really keep any crows or other birds away.
Veeeeeeeeery nice! Are these generally bought or made? You don't tend to see decorative scarecrows around these parts. In fact, it's been years since I even saw a "Guy" for bonfire night...
ReplyDeleteI have not seen a homemade one in years. All purchased & probably winter indoors in storage sheds.
DeleteNo, they are too nice to be scary! I do love the third picture. the colours are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteAren't they all super cute! We had one of a similar design (just for show), but it rotted and fell over ...
ReplyDeletea lovely way to add colour to an autumn garden but I agree too cute to be scary
ReplyDeleteLove the pumpkin one. We see a lot of those around here. They are cute. We have our annual scarecrow trail on at the moment. I haven't had a chance to go round them yet.
ReplyDeleteNo, they aren't especially scary looking are they?
ReplyDeleteOh they are pretty - they don't work terribly well here I've found, it is just too wet so they go mouldy. But I tried as they are so cherry!
ReplyDeleteThey do look more decorative than functional, but cute as can be!
ReplyDeletevery cute..but not very scary!
ReplyDeleteThey do add some charm at this time of year! -Jenn
