I had to look close for those groundhogs! What a capture - that's so clever! Not so easy to find over here, I may have to resort to a carrot :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's been a bumper year for groundhogs, much to the farmer's dismay! Finding two burrows so close was just a matter of chance on my part, they are SO cute. I like carrots!
DeleteYour capture for underground is great. Mine require some imagination. Maybe I'd better rethink them!
ReplyDeleteThanks Karen, as you know Groundhogs are a nervous lot, so I had to creep close ever so slowly. I cannot wait to see your underground - it's all about having fun. At first I thought for underground maybe the subway in Toronto ...
DeleteI too like the groundhogs. I certainly couldn't capture that one. Oh heck I have my days mixed up. I thought the link up was tomorrow? Whoops! I will have to do mine tomorrow and then Take Three Thursday on Friday....
ReplyDeleteGlad you joined in regardless of the days. Looking forward to seeing your threesome on Friday & oh don't we then have 5,5,5 on Saturday ...!!
DeleteA Scottish highlander is not I would expect to see carved from a maple stump! Interesting finds.
ReplyDeleteHello Fiona. The Scotsman resides in a town north of us, Fergus & it's got very deep Scottish roots. Their highland games in mid-August are the largest in this part of the country - the tattoo tickets sell out months in advance & it is my favourite part of the festival.
DeleteMe too, I like the groundhogs and Mr Fergus McFergus.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I think the tree Scots man does have an official name, but I lost that info on him. Um I need to find again, but I rather like Fergus McFergus.
DeleteThe carved man is wonderful! Some great finds.
