Nothing Is As Planned
It seems that our latest two hires at the clinic have decided it is too much for them. On the same day within hours of each other, our newest hired physio therapist quit & then the latest receptionist decided it was too busy for her.
I will be absent from blogging for a few days as I will be focused on replacements for the clinic.

How annoying for you! I don't know how anyone can decide a job is not for them after such a short space of time. Many years ago, I was in a job I realised I was no good at, but I stuck it out for 8 months while I found a job I was good at. Good luck with finding the right people for the jobs!
ReplyDeleteOh, good grief :(. Are jobs that plentiful? I'm trying hard not to think 'snowflakes' ... Hoping you find some reliable, let-me-give-it-a-proper-go people very soon.
ReplyDeleteOh poor you! Aren't they contractually bound by a notice period? Maybe a clause should be added before the next hires. On another note, I know you have your moments there too ... do you sympathise with them on any level, or are they just spoiled brats / being flaky?
ReplyDeleteHope your next few days are bearable. X
I could just "ditto" Alexa's comment! You certainly have had terrible luck with the recent hires.
ReplyDeleteIt's crazy how people aren't prepared to stick at something a little longer. Such a shame for you because all the interviewing and admin work involved in employing someone is so time consuming - you must be so disappointed to be going through it all over again. The job situation here is not good and I think that you would have to have something much better lined up before you gave notice to leave. All jobs are a bit 'have I done the right thing' for the first few weeks and I'm so sorry to hear that your people haven't been prepared to give it a bit more time.
ReplyDeleteOh dear. You poor thing. I hope you get it sorted soon.
ReplyDeleteso sorry you have been having a hard time at work lately.
ReplyDeleteI hope you find the perfect fit for your office.
Oh my, this has been a tough year for new hires there! It seems like no one give it's much of a chance before moving on! Hope things are going well!
