Take Three Thursday - Forming An Edge

In an effort to notice more of the ordinary in my life, I have decided to share what I have noticed this week in Take Three Thursday.   The idea is to take 1 - 5 photos that are linked some how; by theme, by colour, by date, by moment,  by points of view. There is no formal link in but please feel free to join in.

What have you noticed this week?

Please have a peek at what others are noticing & doing this week:

Eileen at: A Bracelet of Days
Karen at: Random Reflections

This week what else could I notice but the snow, the wind all mixed together to make Mother Nature's artistry admirable.  Between the snow & the gusting winds, this drift was created & we watched the edge be sculpted into a form  ...

Good bye February - you have been a very cold, snowy, windy & icy month.  I must admit, I won't miss you.

  1. I'd be very popular with the local kids if I had that much snow in my garden. They always knock on the door to ask if they can have 'my snow' ... they'd love you!

    1. Oh if only I could find someone to take the snow - Mr Man has done a number on his back & so today removing the 20-25 cm of snow is going to be a job (paid for) for the neighbourhood teens! It's the cash they want (col).

    1. We set lots of records in this region. Yesterday's snow was a record amount since 1938. I think we are calling it "in like a lion" although the sunshine today is marvelous.

  4. No one I know will miss February here either! It went out with a bang--over 8 inches yesterday and last night. It is beautiful, but that's the only positive I can think of!

  5. That third picture in particular is so pretty. Mother Nature is very artistic, but if she could just stop throwing snow at you that would be very welcome!

    1. Thanks Deb. There was some very pretty drifts with ridges but I think only nice things about them because I'm not having to shovel or walk through them! (lol).

  6. Wow! I love looking at people's snow photos, but it's times like these I'm happy living in the South. So pretty, though.

    1. I have many photos of the pretty snow but I also have a few of the work of snow - Mr Man either shoveling or blowing the driveway out ...

  7. Oh my goodness, that's beautiful …. but soooo cold looking!

Our temperatures dipped again last night, but I was able to get out for several walks earlier this week (without a jacket!).

    1. I think that's what is wearing so many of us down about this month - the coats, the boats, the hats, the gloves, the scarves ... well you get it. It was a very cold day today - woke to -24(c) without the wind chill almost -30 with the wind chill!

  8. Beautiful sculptures! They remind me of a wave as depicted on an old Japanese screen print.
