So true. It's always best to focus on the positives and not fight against things outside of your control. Sometimes you just have to go with the flow and do the best you can.
I think today's wisdom is something I really need to focus on today; we had the announcement of another 28 days in lockdown & it's snowing & staying on the ground. Today I will be digging a little deeper to find the adventure!!
Oh NOOOOO! I think you should channel your inner Ella/5-year-old and be really, really excited about the snow. If I were there I'd be making a snowman, dressing him up and taking photos for my blog. Drag Mr M out with you. (But I must admit that having already seen spring, a dump of snow at this stage would feel like quite a step back.)
I am trying to see the positive. Mr Man says, well at least the cold makes everyone stay inside. I'll take it. This afternoon we do have some glorious sunshine. I'll take it.
Very true. So sorry to hear you are not only faced with another month of lockdown but bad weather too. I think it's helping our spirits a lot to have sunny days so we can enjoy getting out of the house. Some days it's easier than others to find the silver lining in the cloud x
Our provincial health panel are looking to see how Austria fairs with their gradual re-opening. My friend in provincial government says they would like to keep most of the restrictions in place until at least June 23rd. Fingers crossed Austria's success is the world's success.
It's harder some days, heck it's harder moment to moment. I know we will get through this. “Ça va bien aller,” is now the welcome sign at Montreal's airport (“It’s going to be OK.”) I'm making a sign for myself.
So very true. I'm definitely more positive, less negative. It is difficult to find an adventure when you can't get out and about but like Eileen said, we have to do the best we can.
I'm making up my own adventure protocol. Today's walk theme was find at least 3 messages stones. Tomorrow's adventure may be found in tackling my linen closet (airing cupboard)!
You are most welcome. I think initially when I wrote this post it was more of a public declaration of my own struggle. I can only control how I respond to any situation.
I keep hoping that Mother Nature will be a bit kinder in her April days, alas, she's been typical Ontario weather. We just have to take the nicer days & enjoy to the max.

DeleteWe don't always realize how much impact our own attitude has on our situation. Thanks for the reminder :)

DeleteYes. I need to remember that. Yes!
ReplyDeleteI think this is my mantra for the week.
DeleteWell, that's the truth, and a good thing to remember in these unusual days!
ReplyDeleteSome days, some moments it is hard.
DeleteSo true! Thank you for sharing this wisdom. :)
ReplyDeleteMore snow? Oh goodness, that sounded hard - until I absorbed your maxim for today and thought of all the positives :).
