Wisdom - Photos In The Garden

Yes there be photos!  And while I can - photo heavy.  There is definitely Wisdom to learn from nature.

White Poppies

Pink Poppies

Red Poppies

I go to nature to restore my self & I defrag, clear the cash & up date drivers to "fix" my photo in Blogger.

    1. Thank you Ruth. The poppies are on the wane now. They did last quite long as it was much cooler. Everything is coming on fast & finishing fast with the humidity & heat rising. What a way to greet summer 2023!

  2. Oh I have iris envy! Only one of mine returned this year and it came to a sticky end after a certain dog decided to make a bed in the flower bed. She was in disgrace!

    1. Oh naughty Coco sleeping in the iris bed! Iris I have found take a lot of care, but oh the rewards of the blooms, feels worth it :)

  3. So many beautiful blooming flowers! I love those white poppies! Don't have any more luck with poppies than I do with irises so I'm envious of your garden.

    1. I had years of having no success with iris & several had iris borer, nasty bug, but I dug out the sick ones, planted new ones in areas that had not had iris. I now keep a very watchful eye for any signs of the borer. I have no luck with foxglove & I really like.

  5. I like the pink and purple irises best. Must be lovely if they all come out together, or overlap.

    1. The pinks are coming back slowly. With the removal of the evergreen, they are getting more sunshine. There is a little overlap time with all the iris & poppies.

    1. Thanks Liz. The iris has a light scent with hints of lemon. Right now the garden is filled with the scent of the Elderberry bush.

  9. Defrag, indeed. Nature is wonderful at helping with that. Lovely snaps.

    1. Defragging, resetting & using another search method all seem to be work arounds, temporary at best. The technical challenges, which are really beyond me, are making it difficult to want to keep blogging.

  10. I can relate to all of the technology struggles that go along with blogging. There are days when everything works perfectly and days and more days were nothing works at all. I have trouble saving and publishing which makes it almost pointless to blog at all!!

Your photos are so clear. Gorgeous captures of the delicate details of these flowers. I particularly like the ruffled edge of the pink orchid or iris near the top. Reminds me of a very feminine skirt...maybe something in tulle?

    1. Thank you Leslie. I like the idea that the iris petals look like tulle. Now I see them as the ballerinas of the garden Blogger is certainly a challenge for me & while I finally get to see your posts, instead of telling me there's nothing to see, but it won't let me comment. So please know that I am reading :)
