Memorandum Monday

Memorandum Monday is Sian's morphed Me On Monday: http://fromhighinthesky.blogspot.ca/

I didn't learn anything new this week, but I did meet some new to me people.  Specifically I met several of the spouses of my co-workers.  Fourteen of us had a lovely Sunday lunch at a local Greek restaurant.  Thankfully we finished just as a howling snow squall came into town - nasty driving conditions, and thankfully everyone made it home safely.

We were seated by the big picture window at the back

Mr Man says they make a good Lamb Souvlaki

  1. That does look like a delicious plate of food! It's always nice to meet people's 'other halves' isn't it?

    1. Mr Man does like his lamb, I really should learn more than one method for cooking - which is on the barbeque.

  3. Sounds good! I have never eaten in a Greek restaurant, so I should probably seek one out and that would be something I had done for the first time.

    Have a good week

    1. Culinary adventures can sometimes be a replacement for those of us that cannot travel. Italian food is my favourite & I think a country I would love to visit.

    1. Alexa the weather has been nasty - very bitterly cold - winter is upon us. Thanks for your good wishes.

  5. That sounds fun (though I might have worried, being me). Was there dancing and plate smashing afterwards? :o)

    1. No plates were injured in this luncheon. Dancing, not by me at any time or place - well maybe a lot of dancing in my head.

  8. Looks like a great night out. The Mechanic would love that lamb. It's not something that appears on the menu very often here. I haven't eaten it myself for 30 years! I found Greece was a great place to eat as a vegetarian, when I visited in '95. Lots of delicious "picky" bits and pieces.
