WOYWW #399

Linking in with our hostess Julia & the WOYWW community at: WOYWW

This week my desk is filled with ideas & some beautiful papers but alas my time for scrapping is at empty this week as I am busy with writing procedures & protocols for work as we are introducing a new service for patients.  As I write the steps necessary to conduct this service,  I use myself as a test case, can I follow along exactly as the steps are written.  It has been back to that drawing board not my scrap/crafting table that I have been going.

So this is how I left my crafting space Monday night.

I am putting together some papers to design 2 Valentines & February double page layouts - I did get some of the papers grouped into which to use with which.

I have also been in the thought & crafting idea stages for capturing photoless stories about my GrandMother & Mother before I forget & I wanted to give a heritage feeling to them - I did a mock up/rough draft of a title page.  The jars are cut from vellum.  Early stages ...

You don't stumble upon your heritage.  It is there waiting to be explored & shared.   Robbie Robertson

  2. Hi Mary Lou, love the vellum idea, definitely very nostalgic.Good idea to use yourself as a test subject, and keep reading it through. As a trainer myself, it can be very hard to explain something step by step, without missing things out, that you yourself know and do as a matter of course. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #5 XxX

  9. I like the look of the memory jars a lot. I'm working on a spread about this month's weather ... one side traditional 12x12, the other a divided pocket page (9 squares of 4x4).

  10. Yay! I'm so happy to see some hearts on a desk. I don't know why, but there's a surprising lack of Valentine love going on yet. Hmm. Happy Wednesday. Sandy Leigh #45

  12. Making albums for memories is a great idea as future generations really never know how they thought and really lived just from photos.

  18. I really hate when real life interrupts my creativity. I am under a writing deadline. If I can clear it early, then I'm taking two full days to play. Join me! Looking forward to seeing your Valentine projects. Creative Blessings! Kelly #42
