Take Three Thursday

If an effort to notice more in my life, I have decided to share what I have noticed this week in Take Three Thursday.  The idea is to take 3 photos that are linked some how; by theme, by colour, by date, by moment,  by points of view. There is no formal link in but please feel free to join in.  What have you noticed this week?

See what some others have noticed this week:

This week I noticed by a fleeting drive by chance, reflections.  I firmly believe now that what you need for reflection photos is mostly chance of a good water location, lighting, having any type of camera with you & the opportunity to pull over to take the photo.

This week on a mad dash for some personal & work errands as I was driving by the lake, I noticed the magnificent reflections in the lake on either side of the road.  Ah, yes, I thought, on the way back.   It certainly is where I am at at the moment - doing a lot of reflecting.

  3. fabulous reflections - I agree there is a lot of weather luck in finding reflections - I think spring and autumn are better than summer because of the angle of the sun

    1. Thank you Karen. If it wasn't so icy I might be tempted to go photograph the trees covered in ice.

  5. Yes I think you are right. Those are the elements of a good reflection and those are lovely. It is not something you can plan. You can choose a good location but you can't dictate the conditions.

    1. Drove by the lake today & it seemed almost the same lighting & temperature but alas no reflections. Although I have spotted something else that could be a great threesome!

  6. Such beautiful views.
The first photo reminds me of my view at our cottage...which I can't wait to get back to once the warmer weather comes :)

    1. I would like to look out at the water everyday, but for us it's a walk to the river & a drive to the lake. Lucky you at the cottage with such a view.
