Take Three Thursday - Fallen Snow

In an effort to notice more of the ordinary in my life, I have decided to share what I have noticed this week in Take Three Thursday.   The idea is to take photos that are linked some how; by theme, by colour, by date, by moment,  by points of view. There is no formal link in but please feel free to join in. What have you noticed this week?

Have a look at what others have noticed this week:

This week the only thing I could notice was snow & I find it most interesting the way the snow settles on some of the things in my garden. Based on weather forecasts for the rest of the winter, this might be a recurring theme for Thursday!

  1. Love that quote! Snow is such a beautiful treat for us since we get it so seldom here. I like these close views.

    1. Taking snow photos can be challenge, so many have a blue hue - which is lack of my paying attention to light balance/white balance, which on close ups doesn't seem to be a problem.

  2. Love the snow on the hummingbird---and that quote is lovely. I must admit that a little less snow and cold might be a treat!

    1. We are certainly getting a fair share of both cold & snow this winter. I was given a card with that snowflake quote, a thanks for efforts towards building a team - from a previous career life.

  3. Oh goodness, that looks cold . . . and beautiful! I think each of these photos could be the start of a wonderful story. :)

    1. I think I tell myself many tales about the snow, most lead off with the tale of my winter discontentment ...

  4. It's amazing how snow builds up on such a small surface area.

    1. I have a whole lot of photos of the snow caps & the biggest one is on a solar light - needed to brush off so I could get the light but only after I took photos.

  5. The snow on the hummingbird looks so pretty. I'm wondering if we've seen all the snow we are going to get this year (2 days worth!).

    1. We are having a mild spell & the snow is melting quickly but on Monday it will be added to again ... I think it's going to be a long winter.

  6. Great photos as always!!
I just keep watching the snow rise and rise.
I keep track of it by my huge pot outside in the back yard...which I cant see anymore

    1. Thanks. Our snow is almost gone again, but forecast is for more mid week. With each melt I find something lost in the wind, I am hoping to find part of my Christmas/Winter white floral arrangement from the front door lost last Tuesday!
