Me On Monday - June 25th

OK I'm going to say it - 6 months today is Christmas!  OK I've got that out of my system.

Good Morning all.  Just a reminder that this Friday, the 29th is our first link up for SPSH finds.

Friday night & all weekend we got the rain the gardens & crops needed.

While the gardens enjoyed the drink, on Sunday we had to go out in the rain to visit my foster Mom at her new retirement digs.  I do not like driving in the rain on the highways, but as always, time with this wonderful lady is always worth the drive.

I hope that everyone has a wonderful week ahead, for me it's a fully packed week ahead.

  5. Happy Leon Day! ;) It's worth noticing :)

That rain looks like it means business. I know the plants were happy for it.

  6. It certainly did the gardens some good - and made gardening much easier. I really didn't miss the sun. I got some indoor chores done during the downpour!

    1. I too found pulling weeds so much easier after the rain & now another forecast of rain & really hot, humid weather for the rest of the week, so no weed pulling from me.

  7. We had two days of that downpour in Chicago, and are due for some rain the next two days here. The grass in the front yard is turning brown, so I guess I shouldn't complain. I love that photo of the chipmunk. As for your reminder that Christmas is six months off---not. so. much. Time is flying by, and the calendar for the rest of the summer tells me the rest of it is going to go quickly as well.

    1. Yes more rain forecasted & I won't complain because the grass & garden still need. I am looking for a life pause button because I agree, it's moving way too fast.
