Monday you are fast
becoming my favourite day of the week.
Sounds like you had a lovely Canada Day and long weekend. :) Monday is definitely not my favourite!

Hi Delanie. Canada Day & the 4 days that followed were weather perfect. Mondays like today can be a bit of a challenge, but right now I'm going to enjoy an amazing sunset - the wild fires way out in BC are putting tiny smoke particles high up, which in turn give us brilliant red sunsets.
DeleteYep: we always enjoy the Grand Prix. Every year we say next year we'll actually get to Silverstone!
ReplyDeleteYou are so right about the rain making the weeding easier. I had never looked at it that way before.
Have a good week Mary-Lou
Thanks Sian. It's doubtful I'll ever get to the Canadian GP in Montreal. Tickets are very expensive. We use to get TV coverage choice on 2 stations, now just one choice but at least we get the coverage, so not all bad :)
Delete"Celebrated with lots of red and white" ... Immediately thought of wine but I'm guessing this says more about me than it does about you!!
ReplyDeleteCan't think for now who DC is but I've been thinking the same about Pat Cash's commentary on the tennis. He goes on and on and on and says very little! Sometimes I laugh and sometimes I mute!
col about the red & white. DC is David Coulthard, an ex-F1 driver, now race announcer and he yammers on & on & on. Very annoying at times. Mute may be an option ...
DeleteWe can here the grand prix in Silverstone from our house. sounds like a packed weekend :)
ReplyDeleteThat would be fantastic but only if you enjoy F1 racing. The only F1 race in Canada is in Montreal, and while I have been to Montreal, just not to a race. I cannot image the noise levels!
