Reading: a little book, God's Debris: A Thought Experiment, written by Scott Adams of Dilbert fame. I've said a lot of "What" & "oh" out loud while reading. It's got some interesting ideas (?).
Pondering: our little village has had several very sad losses in a week; a terrible car crash & a suicide. I did not know the 3 car crash victims but I did know the young man that took his own life. His twin brother is beyond devastated, his parents in shock.
Visited: I sat on this porch again having several mugs of tea & great conversations.
Post Thanksgiving Grateful: I was able to stock up on my Gardein Savory Stuff Turk'y. These are only available at Thanksgiving & Christmas, each time for about 2 weeks.
Spending: on a new roof. I don't like having a bin parked on the driveway for over a week, but a necessary tool of the work. Hopefully the rain passes us by on Monday so the work can be finished. Amazed by the detail of the three ladies doing the work. We found this company of women home renovations business. They did the repairs & improvements in our garage of which Mr Man was very impressed with. So far Mr Man is all praise of their roofing skills & work. Me, I'll be glad to have the banging all done & the bin taken away.
Sad In Comparison: I was trimming back the gardens when I remembered the SPSH lushness of green from this area - not any more.
