TGIF

Thank you to Dr Brene Brown for this meme ...

Trusting:  That my excellent intentions regarding my scrapbooking of each month's numbers will get caught up very soon.  I have the numbers, I just need to get them onto the page.

Grateful: Truly grateful for all the medical help there has been for Mr Man's eye problem.  He had quite an upset a few weeks back when it seemed his good eye was struggling.  Turns out he has a condition in that eye of extreme dryness, which turns out can affect your vision. The good eye has been working hard to compensate for the bad eye (the one that had 3 surgeries to it & monthly eye injections).   A good eye drop prescription  & some simple things like warm compresses twice a day are helping - this week doctor & Mr Man are pleased with the improvements.

Inspired: by so many talented scrappers, card makers & blog writers.  While not necessarily a woman's domain, it seems that the majority of those that I follow or read, are women.  I am thankful for an online tribe of woman that inspire me.  I'm inspired by the raising up of women by women to develop & share with the world, our gifts.

Fun: the continuation of our wandering as a Summer Manifesto.  We found a truly delightful back roads way to my favourite scrapping store & discovered a charming little cafe for tea & cakes.  We live in such a rich farming area & with all spring's rain, everything is still green & lush looking.

    1. Some of the photos are ones that don't really fit anywhere else. So thankful for expert help that doesn't require trips to Toronto.

  2. So good hear that things are improving with the eye problems, that's fantastic news.

The majority of the blogs I follow are written by women as well.

    1. Thankfully the "good" eye can respond with some fairly simple things. The other eye, well as long as it doesn't get worse is what Mr Man hopes for.

  3. I'm happy for y'all that the eye problem is improving. It's such a relief when the recommended actions lead to improvement :) "Wandering" is a lovely thing, not goal-oriented, not task-driven, but a peaceful process :)

    1. Mr Man's left eye will never be back to normal so that's why he panicked when the "good" eye started to have problems, I was surprised at how diligent he's been with the eye compresses. Our wandering theme has spilled over to my mind doing some wandering of what's next, no specific goals in sight, just want to wander at potentials & possibilities.

  4. Sorry to hear the "other" eye is complaining but glad that it's under control. That's the last thing he or you need. Tea and cake somewhere peaceful with someone nice would be something to be savoured just now.

    1. I have discovered that most men make terrible patients, I'll say no more. I'm lucky that Mr Man is so game to discover tea shops rather than pubs (our pubs are very different to the ones in GB).

    1. The wandering for some reason has been a perfect match for us this year. Of course many of the roads are under construction so wandering a different route almost seems mandatory.
