Furry Pairs

Linking in with Helena's Pairs: http://helenascreativemaven.blogspot.ca/

This pair make my heart very full and happy.

I'd like to introduce you to Smokey Puss (aka The Goat) and Sooty Paws (aka Tree Frog).  They are currently 11 months old,  siblings from a litter of 5. Their Mom was a pregnant rescue cat.  When we brought them home in October they were identical in looks but in the last 3 months they are becoming individuals not only in the fur patterns but personalities.  Smokey, the larger of the two,  has large dark rings and Sooty has mostly stripes within her fur.  Both have an under coat of silver.  Both are very cuddly.  Smokey likes to climb up on everything and Sooty not only climbs up on everything, she is also fascinated by water which includes sticking her head under the facet when Mr Man brushes his teeth.  Sooty loves her tinfoil balls and will fetch and retrieve them to you to throw again, again, again ...  Smokey's favourite toy is what we call squiggles, curled pipe cleaners.  My girls.

  1. They've grown so much! Do they go outside?

    1. Smokey is really getting to be a big cat. They are never allowed outside and as far as I know when they were kittens at the rescue house they were strictly indoors. Too dangerous outdoors as we have coyotes in the fields behind us who have young again this year, plus I know who they play with at all times.

  2. Lovely cats. They do have their own little personalities don't they? Unusual to have one that likes water!
