See what others have noticed this week:

This week what I've noticed, is all the threesomes in my own garden. It's like a buddy system of flowers. I know that science has something to say about grouping things to please the eye & making in easier for the eye to "see", is in 3, 5 or 7 - with three being the ideal. I guess nature proves once again, it is in charge & does know best.
So I give you three of my floral amigos
The Three White Knights Have Fallen Together |
A Purple Haze |
The Red Queens Have Nearly Lost Their Petals |
Lovely colours and lovely photos, especially the first one.
ReplyDeleteI like your flower buddies. Great snaps.
ReplyDeleteThanks - tulips were very late this year.
Delete"Floral amigos" :) Such pretty flowers!
ReplyDeleteThanks - it's always good to have a buddy :)
DeleteTulips and aliums, my favourites!
ReplyDeleteI have other big globe aliums that did nothing this year :( Always amaze me such large floral heads held so sturdily on a single stem.
DeleteA trio of trios! Nature really does know best.
ReplyDeleteI am often bowed to her will.
DeleteI'm sure I could come up with some trios - everything seems to bursting into bloom with all the rain we have had this week!
ReplyDeleteThe shrubs are glorious in bloom this year, the lilacs, the bridal wreath, honeysuckle
DeleteThree always looks better than two which I think most florists would agree with. Lovely
ReplyDeleteI think the 3,5,7 is taught in florist classes.
DeleteSuch lovely threes!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLovely! I'll have to look here and see if I can find any trios.
ReplyDeleteThey are out there (col).
DeleteThese are indeed lovely - I especially like the white against the green. So fresh :).
ReplyDeleteI think green & white hostas are my favourite for that very reason, fresh & clean look for the garden.
