Winter Photo Scavenger Hunt (WPSH) 2nd Link In

Today I am linking in to Eileen's 2nd Link In for the WPSH.

Here are a few of my finds for the list:

#1 Party Time - our celebration for the Winter Solstice

#2 A Star - a gift to ourselves

#4 Form or Shape - in keeping with the upcoming Valentine's Day celebrations; cake, cupcakes pans & cookie cutter heart.

#8 In Profile - can not do just one, fairness is fairness to the fur girls.

#11 Represent Your Zodiac/Chinese Animal - Leo The Lion

#15 External Light - one of our solar lights wearing a winter cap of snow

#18 A Gift - from Christmas (perfect for after skating on Alt C)

#18/19 - this one falls in to both categories - this was a very thoughtful & unexpected gift from a friend overseas, a beautiful decoration for our tree.

#19 A Decoration - honouring 2021, the year of the vaccine

#20 Small - a small library in the river side park of the village

Alt B - Weather Today - a recent snow storm ... again

Alt C - Squares - a square of shoveled ice on the river for skating, no ice hockey here, there are manicured rinks for that.

There's still time to play along & have some winter fun ...

    1. Thanks Bless, lately the fur girls are not staying still long enough for photos, but this morning I had quiet kitties, a camera close by ...

  2. These are great Mary-Lou! I like your star decoration, Leo the lion and all the beautiful snow (don't look at me like that!) The 2121 decoration is really cool and the heart one looks good (good photo).

    1. Oh so you saw me throw you some shade about the snow (col). Yes snow is pretty to look at ... I'll say no more. The heart decoration will definitely be in pride of place on tree for 2022.

  4. Your weather really makes its appearance in your photos - so atmospheric, I couldn't believe how much show was on top of your outside light! That's a great find of the lion - they can't be that common. Love the little library - I found one of these out on a walk in the middle of the countryside recently, and was delighted.

    1. Thanks Alexa. The Leo lion photo was taken at a park entrance where there are two of them; The Lions & Lionesses of the village own the land & turned it into a park for all the village, the lions are so all know who gifted the park & maintain it. The little library in the park is a most recent addition & it's getting a lot of use.

  5. I love that small library! I'd be tempted to do all of my daily walks passed it. :)

    1. I think the little library would get more notice if it was closer to the parking lot; as it stands right now you have to walk in through all that snow. But maybe that's the plan, a real book lover would walk the distance :)
